It's autumn here in the South, and it's raining cats & dogs outside; I've finished my (paid) work for the day, dinner is done dusted, the fire is on, and I can't think of anything better to do than snuggle down with a red wine, my pencils & my Autumn fantail.....
Better get on with it then!

And now it's all finished!
...and I think it's a keeper! And after about 60 hours of work on it, it definitely should be a keeper. So I guess it's off to the framers with it!

Still working on it......
Yes, here it is again, STILL not finished....Am having lots & lots of fun with the background, reminds me of those doodleart pictures we used to colour in, but oh my, it is taking me SUCH a long time! Still, I'm pleased with how it's coming along - there was a time a couple of weeks ago where I thought it had all gone horribly wrong & I would have to shove it in a drawer never to be seen again. Got through that phase thankfully, and now I think I'm not far away from being done with the background, then a couple more layers of pencil on Grace & it should be finished! But who knows how long that will take.......

Another Fancy Dress piece
Just finished this one and popped it into Bellamy's Gallery in MacAndrew Bay, where the North Meets South exhibition is still going strong. The exhibition is raising funds for Poems in The Waiting Room, a very worthy cause that does just what it says - provides poetry to waiting rooms for the enjoyment of those who are....er....waiting!
